Principal's Message

Dear Lowman Hill Families,

I hope you are doing well and have been staying safe over the summer. I am so excited to start serving the students, families, staff, and community of the Early College Prep Academy at Lowman Hill Elementary! I wanted to reach out and share more about myself as the incoming principal.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education degree from Kansas State University, and Masters of Science degree and School Leadership license from Emporia State University. I have previously served as an administrator for six years as Head Principal, Assistant Principal and Building Leader. I have also taught elementary and middle school in 1st-8th grade levels, been a Technology Teacher, Interventionist and Instructional Coach. I have also had experience as a paraprofessional and substitute.

Personally, I have lived in many states across the Midwest and north west. I have lived the majority of my life in Kansas. My husband, Mr. Norton and I enjoy spending our time with friends and family and traveling. We also enjoy spending time with my adult children who live in town.

I am looking forward to not only serving but being the leader of the Lowman Hill Elementary School community!
